1. The Commodore in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, recently started brunch service and oh my, was it delicious. Bloody Marys and grits and egg biscuit and hash brown topped with jalapenos and cheese and obviously the chicken biscuit with hot sauce and honey.

  2. Fried chicken with butter biscuits and honey wasabi ($17) from Preserve 24.

Great outer, crispy skin but the meat could’ve used a little bit more seasoning. Thank goodness for honey and hot sauce.

  3. I love Charles’ Country Pan Fried Chicken in Harlem. It’s about an hour train ride from Brooklyn but totally worth it because you can pay just $13 for all-you-can-eat. That’s right, ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT. It’s all-you-can-eat fried chicken and all the sides.

The fried chicken is juicy, crispy and flavorful. It’s not greasy at all and doesn’t make you feel disgusted even after you have eaten 11 pieces.
